餐廳memo更新

人性本皮

雖然還有好些日本旅行的飲食報告沒寫(比方 這個 ),但為免日後歲月如梭之憾(其實是怕自己記性差啦),似乎也該寫點小外甥的記事。

小外甥目前進入我覺得小孩最有趣的「時段」──兩歲幼兒的言語我們大致可以聽懂,比較麻煩的部份應該是老妹跟妹夫雖不是英文高手,但一方面擔心「讓小孩輸在起跑點」,再者米奇DVD一播,小孩就安靜多了──所以小人的字彙夾雜國語、台語、英文,於是大人常搞不清楚小人說的字眼是哪種語言,隨時要進行猜謎遊戲。

不知是因為懶,還是音節太多記不得,所以小孩自己發明了略語。比方說玉米簡稱「米」,哆啦A夢變成「阿夢」。當然也有認識不清或自行依邏輯歸納為「一系列」,例如紅色圓圓的果物不論蘋果番茄柿子一律叫「阿波 = apple」,有輪者從天上飛機到地上的輪椅都可稱作「車子」。

如同突然能夠進行搖頭運動後時常卯起來瘋狂搖頭,現在學會也明白「不要」的意思便拿來當口頭禪拼命說「我不要我不要」,尤其心情不悅或睡前鬧脾氣時,一連串的「不要…不要…」加上搖頭搖得跟波浪鼓似的,往往讓人很想 K 下去。

另一口號是「我要出去」,甚至會奔跑到大門抓著門把用哭音嘶喊「我要出去」──而只要出門離開家,這孩子隨即開心跑跳步,加上笑嘻嘻可愛面貌總能取得眾多讚美。有回去微風超市,他樂得到處奔跑,我好不容易把他抓到收銀櫃台前的高櫃坐著,大少爺玩得爽快,一面哼歌一面搖晃身子,還突然玩起哈哈哈呵呵呵嘿嘿嘿的大笑遊戲,把在旁邊補充冰塊的工讀生大姊姊逗得好開心,大讚「他真的好可愛喔~」

身為阿姨的我赫然發現這就是長大的不平等──成人若在超市走道開心奔跑 + 搖頭晃腦唱歌 + 玩哈哈哈呵呵呵嘿嘿嘿大笑遊戲,應該會被斥責沒禮貌 + 神經病吧……

管它520

520前一天從清晨就開始下雨
雨越下越大,間或摻雜著轟隆聲響
起先以為是打雷
後來覺得這雷似乎打得很久,而且間隔也有些規律
才想到應是就職典禮預演……

與此同時,正在洋基球場投球的阿民
卻遭遇空前危機,而且還悲慘敗投
那聲聲砲轟,彷彿是擊潰阿民的超犀利背景音效
遠方的砲聲KO再KO
阿民退場回到dugout摔了手套

about Chien-Ming Wang:6-0

2008賽季開始迄今,阿民目前以六連勝的佳績成為洋基頭牌先發。不過我總覺得,新官上任的總教練「急拉地」其實有參考老闆的心態把阿民當任勞任怨的亞洲勞工使用──因為阿民每次上場,投球數往往要超越前一場,令人懷疑是不是有新規定阿民先發沒超過一百球就不能換中繼投手?

"I just keep the game close and give my team a chance to win," Wang said.

Since Wang made his last start, on Sunday at Cleveland, no Yankees pitcher had been able to go at least six innings while allowing three runs or fewer. But the game did not progress without a scare: Wang drew attention with one out in the fifth inning for a potential problem on his pitching hand, calling Molina out to the mound.


"I was able to grip the ball, but it wasn't that comfortable for me to release the ball," Wang said.


The Yankees determined that Wang had suffered a cramp in the meat of his pitching hand, which he eased by receiving some light hand treatment. He believed that it was due to the cold weather, and with New York leading, 3-1,

Wang was lifted after completing the sixth inning at 90 pitches.

Chien-Ming Wang leads Yankees to 1-0 win over Indians

"I threw the most sliders and changeups I ever have," Wang said. "It felt very good in the bullpen and I wanted to do that because I know Cleveland was waiting for the sinker."

The results were noticeable, as Wang struck out nine, the second-highest total of his career. He whiffed 10 Mets in a game last June 17 at Yankee Stadium.

Wang and Sabathia matched up for the first time since Game 1 of last October's AL division series, a night the Tribe scorched the Yankee ace for eight runs over 4-2/3 innings. Sunday, the Indians struggled to get anyone on base.

"Today was different than the playoffs," Wang said. "Last year, I threw a lot of sinkers and didn't change speed. Today, I changed speed."

"He didn't have his great stuff tonight, and he found a way to keep them in check and keep us in the ballgame and get a win," Girardi said. "He was not as sharp -- very seldom do you ever see Chien-Ming Wang at approximately 50 pitches after two innings. But he found a way, battled, gave us six innings and did a nice job."

Wang scattered three runs on 10 hits, walking two and striking out five over 105 pitches, before turning the ball over to the bullpen for the seventh. Wang said that his slider was spotty, so he was forced to go to his changeup and splitter more, offsetting his hard, heavy sinker.

"I figured out how to finish the game," Wang said. "I changed a lot of speeds today."

muji 敗家小報告

前陣子老媽煮紅豆湯煮到忘記,結果不但紅豆湯沒得吃,連鍋子也燒焦到沒救。上週去微風逛無印良品,看到滿千送百活動,想說發個狠買個 muji 的三層金屬單柄鍋用用,順便也買了「似乎」很讚的油用噴霧器。

回家後老媽先洗了鍋子隨即煮魚頭味噌湯,由於一時吃不完,熱過加蓋擺在爐上,隔日吃完湯洗鍋子,發現鍋內出現煮過東西的白色痕跡。

油用噴霧器的概念是可以將任何食用油以噴霧方式噴在食材或炒菜鍋,藉此減少用油量,對於已經把減肥視為某種座右銘的女性來說自然很有說服力和吸引力。

先將零件拆開洗淨烘乾,依照日文說明書按圖索驥倒入適合的油量,便躍躍欲試拿來試噴在麵包上頭。可惜的是並沒有想像中好用──為了按壓噴霧器,必須讓瓶內儘量呈現真空狀態,因此抽拔瓶蓋也必須一鼓作氣、而且要使點勁;這樣花費力氣之後,噴霧器卻只能按個二、三下,然後就呈現按不下去 + 油噴不出來還會積在噴霧管週邊的狀況。

雖說的確有減少用油量,但因為用起來實在是「小累」,所以未來我大概只會拿它來噴要放烤箱烤的魚片吧。btw,壽司如果吃不完收冰箱,隔日壽司飯常會變硬,可以在魚料上噴點油然後放進烤箱加熱,等魚料烤熟就可食用,這樣飯稍微熱過就不會太硬,魚料烤得熱熱的再加上醬油芥末也挺好吃!
